36-Hour Online + 12 Hour Hands On EKG Technician Program

This program will allow students to obtain employment as an Electrocardiograph (EKG/ECG) Technician.

 

The EKG Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic tests to assess the heart rhythm and rate in patients. EKGs are also performed before and after operations, during physical examinations of patients, for patients with a history of heart disease, when patients are experiencing chest pains and when the ordering physician deems it necessary.

 

This course includes 36 hours of online didactic lecture and 12 hours of hands-on clinical training. Externship is not required.

Full scholarships are available. Candidates must complete our application process and any prerequisites. Additionally, candidates must already be employed in a clinical medical capacity such as CNA, MA, Nursing, or other designation.

 

After successful program completion, candidates must pay the NHA Exam Fee: $125 (payable to NHA).
